Lethbridge Kyodokan Judo Club bids a fond farewell to Hiro Yasuki

It was with mixed emotions and a few tears that the member of the Lethbridge Kyodokan Judo Club met for a surprise party at the Regent Restaurant on December 20, 2007 to say farewell to Hiro Yasuki who returned to his home in Japan after spending a couple of years as visiting assistant sensei in Lethbridge. Apart from his exemplary judo skills (he handily won the Provincial Grand Championship the year he entered), Hiro has been a marvelous teacher and has made many friends in his time in Canada. We will all certainly miss him and wish him the very best in Japan.
