Junior Boys Find Success in Kamloops
Members of the Lethbridge Kyodokan Judo Club and University of Lethbridge Judo Club
traveled to Kamloops, British Columbia to attend the Kamloops International Judo Tournament. With more than 400 competitors participating in the meet, Lethbridge athletes rose to the challenge, picking up a total of 17 medals, including 9 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze.
Fighting in the Juvenile Boy’s -66kg division, Kyle N. put in a big effort to earn himself a gold medal, while teammate, Dean C. picked up 2nd in the same division.
The Junior Boy’s also had an excellent showing. Bringing home five gold medals were brothers Carter and Brayden G., Tristen B., Matt
S. and Jaxson T. These young fighters showed a lot of skill and determination and their hard work paid dividends during the competition.
